SHELL is an immersive experience that personalizes itself using what you tell it. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you keep.

1. Information we collect

• Identifiers you provide: name, email address, phone number, social handle, and (if you opt in to physical mail) mailing address.
• Content you submit: answers, words, choices, messages, and other responses you give inside the Experience.
• Gameplay & technical data: progress, timestamps, and basic device/browser information needed to run the Experience.

We only collect what you give us. We do not access your contacts, location, accounts, or device beyond what you voluntarily provide.

2. How we use it

We use your information to deliver and personalize the Experience — including the real-world contact described in our Terms (calls, texts, emails, mail, and opt-in in-person activations) — and to operate, secure, and support the service.

Content presented to other participants. Audio, text, images, and other inputs you provide may be recorded and stored, and anonymized versions of them — including voice recordings — may be presented to other participants as part of the Experience. Your name and identifying details are never attached to them.

3. Calls & text messaging

By providing your phone number and participating, you consent to receive recurring automated and live phone calls and text messages as part of the Experience. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel texts at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to messaging is part of the fiction and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting your other rights.

No mobile information will be sold, and no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and message content may be shared only with the service providers that operate our messaging, strictly to deliver the Experience.

4. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that power the Experience (hosting, database, email, telephone/SMS, and physical-mail vendors), under contract and solely to operate it;
• Contracted performers, where necessary to fulfill a real-world interaction you are eligible for, under confidentiality obligations.

5. Retention, security & your rights

We keep your information only as long as needed to run the Experience, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it. You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time — using the safeword "shellbreak" inside the Experience, or by emailing us. Withdrawing ends contact and triggers deletion of your participation data.

6. Children

The Experience is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
